As you take this SQ assessment, it will reflect the ways that your unique connection to the multifaceted mind of Christ is manifested in your life. The results will help you discern your sensitivity to spiritual information, as well as assessing the frequency and relevance of the spiritual information you receive.

Note that this assessment is not intended to anchor you permanently to a certain level or in a specific category of spiritual intelligence. The goal is to launch you into potentially new ways of developing the “spirit of your mind” (see chapter 1).

The goal of the assessment is to discover your current SQ level, and gain insight into the primary ways you currently hear from God.

Basic Receptivity Analysis

Jesus lived fully connected with His Father and fully aligned to God’s way of thinking. He was what I call “intelligently in tune” with all the extraordinary ways God communicates spiritually with people. I want to focus here on five of the primary ways of spiritual communication that Jesus demonstrated for us.

The next part of your results in this assessment will help you determine how you primarily receive insight and information from God.

These five “receptivity” categories are important indicators of spiritual intelligence, so let’s explore each one a little further.
